Varieties
A rich heritage and culture, from the painting Las Meninas of Velázquez in Madrid to the comb and mantilla of the folkloric women of Jerez who dance to the sound of the guitar, have given us unique character, which is reflected in our range of wines and in our native varieties.

Family business with international projection
La Posada is a wine made by Altosa Wines, a group that has more than 1000 ha of organic farming, which made Altosa one of the main organic wine producers in the world.
Along with this wine, La Posada, Altosa has two additional wine brands:Embrujo del Campo and Petit Vervm.
Altosa Wines is managed by the López Montero family’s second generation.
Elías Montero, Altosa Wines winemaker, and his brothers are working in the recovery of native wine varieties and on those wines that have been affected by climate change.
Elías has been named Winemaker of the Year at the Respected by Gaggenau Awards 2021.
Altosa Wines is a company specialized in international wines with a familiar philosophy. The company has a 4-pillars strategy:

The fifth pillar of Ecology is now included due a certification made in 2013, in which more than 400 Ha of vineyard in glass and trellis were verified becoming Altosa one of the largest organic wine producers in the world with more than 1000 L destined to the cultivation of organic grapes.
In addition, Altosa Wines carries out exhaustive quality and traceability controls aimed at biodiversity in the vineyard and CO2 reduction in all processes.
